Privacy Policy for the Processing of Personal Data Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679
Dear User,
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) establishes that you, as the data subject, must be informed in advance about the use of your personal data through the privacy policy pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as outlined below.
The GDPR is the European regulation aimed at strengthening and unifying the protection of personal data for all individuals within the European Union. It requires a high level of transparency regarding the collection, storage, use, and, more generally, the processing of personal data, setting conditions and limits for its use.
This privacy policy applies to the Campus Hub App (hereinafter also referred to as the “App”) but not to other apps and/or different portals and/or websites for which Campus Editori S.r.l. is not responsible.
The use of some features of the App, as well as the consents that will be requested from you, vary according to age groups:
(i) Users over 18 years old;
(ii) Users aged between 14 and 17 years old.
Below, the policy will highlight, where necessary, the differences in the App’s operation for these age groups so that each user can clearly understand which features they can use and which consents they can provide to the data controller. Where not specified, the policy applies to both age groups.
Registration for the App is only allowed for users over 14 years old.
Data Controller
Campus Editori S.r.l. (hereinafter also referred to as “Campus Editori” or “Controller”), a company part of the publishing house Class Editori S.p.A., acts as the data controller pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 4, No. 7, and Article 24 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter also referred to as “GDPR”). It is, therefore, the entity that processes your personal data in relation to the provision of all services available on the App.
For more detailed information about the data controller, you can contact Campus Editori at its registered office at Via Burigozzo 5 – 20122 Milan, or via email at dpo@class.it.
Joint Controllership for Marketing Purposes (Only for Users Over 18 Years Old)
For the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending commercial communications, marketing, and market research, there is joint controllership between other companies (see list in the appendix) within and outside the Class Editori publishing house (hereinafter also referred to as “Joint Controllers”). Therefore, only with your explicit consent, these companies may send you commercial and marketing communications.

For students/teachers, the province* and name* of the educational institution of origin, field of study*, and, for high school students, the attended class* are also required.
Asterisks (‘*’) indicate mandatory data.
In all the cases mentioned above, the processing of personal data provided by you will be carried out through all or some of the operations indicated in Article 4, No. 2 of the GDPR, namely: “collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, communication, deletion, and destruction of data.”

(ii) For users aged 14-17 years and users over 18 years old – only upon providing explicit consent (optional):
- To keep you updated on content available on the Campus Orienta Digital platform (e.g., webinars, tests, and more) and upcoming initiatives and events of the “Salone dello Studente” through traditional (operator-assisted calls, printed communications) and automated (email, SMS, MMS, fax, automated calls, social media posts) means.
(iii) For users aged 14-17 years and users over 18 years old – upon specific voluntary action (optional):
- Participation in the Salone dello Studente and/or webinars allows users to scan the exhibitor’s QR code. This constitutes an explicit, voluntary, positive, and unequivocal action that can be revoked via the “Scan QR code” function. By scanning the QR code, the user consents to sharing only some personal data (name, surname, email) with the exhibitor.
(iv) For users over 18 years old – only upon explicit consent (optional):
