Founded in 1843, Bishop’s is a primarily undergraduate, English-language university with five faculties and over 100 programs. Tucked between two rivers in the green hills of the Eastern Townships region of Quebec, our 550-acre campus hosts a diverse and multitalented international student body of about 2,800 full-time students, many of whom live right on campus.
Bishop’s is the smallest of Quebec’s English-language universities and one of the most close-knit university environments in all of Canada. With intimate class sizes and a personalized educational experience, you will know your professors, and they will know you. You are never just a number here. We foster a genuine sense of community and belonging that is shared by our students and our family of over 23,000 proud alumni, all of whom have left their purple mark on the world.
