Bachelor 1: LEARNING THE ESSENTIALS (COMMON-CORE SYLLABUS)

Bachelor 2: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE (COMMON-CORE SYLLABUS)

Academic experience in a Partner School abroad

Bachelor 3: PROFESSIONAL INSERTION  AND YEAR OF SPECIALIZATION

In Year 3, you choose one of the 4 specializations:

  • POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS:

MASTER OF SCIENCE

Through acquiring fundamental managerial and decision-making skills in the hotel and luxury industry, Master of Science graduates are prepared to occupy a high-ranked position in international and multicultural environments ;

The Ferrières‘ Master of Science is spread over 2 years and is taught in English.

Master of Science – Year 1 : the Fundamentals in Management, Hospitality, Gastronomy and Luxury.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING : The methodology incorporates the « Learning through Real Life Business Project Management» designed around our 3 main disciplines.

Master of Science – Year 2 :  Specialization in one of these 5 majors :

Gastronomy & Management

Luxury Hotel Management

Tourism and Resort Management

Luxury Marketing and Management

Fashion & Design Management

 

  • INTENSIVE CULINARY DIPLOMAS:

DIPLOMA IN CUISINE :

The Cuisine Diploma lasts 8 months ( 6 months of class and 2 months of internship). This internship is provided by les Ateliers and is compulsory to validate your studies.

The syllabus includes : Introduction to French Cuisine, Regional Cuisine, Classical and Contemporary Cuisine « Haute Gastronomie ».

This qualification is fully bilingual (French/English).

DIPLOMA IN PASTRY :

The Pastry Diploma lasts 8 months ( 6 months of class and 2 months of internship). This internship is provided by les Ateliers and is compulsory to validate your studies.

The syllabus largely focuses on Pastry (desserts, pies, sugar, chocolate), but also includes Bakery (bread, viennoiseries,etc…).

This qualification is fully bilingual (French/English).

 

  • ADMISSION PROCEDURES

For Bachelor 1:

Secondary School Diploma OR High School Diploma with specialization

For Master of Science 1:

College or University Diploma (equivalent to 180 European Credits)

For Master of Science 2:

Bachelor degree + Year 1 of Master Diploma (equivalent to 240 European Credits) or Bachelor Hons or Bachelor’s degree  with 3 years of professional experience

International Candidates for French Program must show proof of their DELF “Diplôme d’Etudes de Langue Française”, Level B2

International Candidates for English Program must show proof of their English proficiency. Ferrières School requires one of the following scores for students that are non-native English speakers:

TOEFL:  Minimum score 75

IELTS: Minimum score 5.5

TOEIC: Minimum score 700
